Red Carpet Do’s And Don’ts
So you have finally made it to the red carpet! Or maybe you like skimming through the red carpet coverage in magazines to see what’s hot and what’s not. Either way, there are certain disasters that you might be exposed to. We are talking about fashion disasters. For those on the red carpet, they are the principal trend setters and any fashion crime committed is a huge let down, because, after all, most of these celebrities can afford a good personal stylist, to say the least!

Do’s
Do’s
- Dress up in classic, well established forms when unsure about what to wear. Classic gowns and tuxedoes are safe bets and look grand.
- Dress according to age. Coral lipstick looks fun and funky…on a sixteen year old. Wearing it when you’re closer to sixty is clearly a desperate attempt to cling to a long lost youth. Be classy. Be suave.
- Try and match your partner’s style. It makes for quite a splash of the cameras and can make a statement in a good way if done well.
- Go for the black and white combination. It never goes out of fashion. Try black lace upon white satin, or a classic black and white suit combination.

Don’t
Don’ts
- Wear a sleeveless dress if you don’t plan to remove under arm hair.
- Be a victim of a wardrobe malfunction by wearing ill fitting clothes.
- Wear anything made of denim, if it is ripped or acid washed.
