A lot of women are walking around in jeans that aren’t the right fit. Most people don’t realize that wearing the wrong style of jeans can make you look shorter, wider, and disproportionate. By wearing jeans that fit your body type, you can accentuate your best features and down play your worst features.
Here are some tips for purchasing the best jeans for your body type:
- The jeans you wear should fit your waist snug, but allow you to easily button them. If you have to lie down to button your pants then they are too tight. Wearing jeans that are too tight is not an attractive look and will leave you feeling uncomfortable while you wear them.
- If you have an ample back side, you will want to stay away from low-rise jeans. Wearing low-rise jeans when you have more to work with in the rear will cause you to show stuff that you don’t want to show. It will also cause you to appear thicker.
- If you have shorter than average legs, you will want to stay away from jeans that flare at the bottom. The flare at the bottom of the jeans will take even more length away from your legs, making them look even shorter. Instead, go for jeans that are straight legged, or even tapered.
- If you have extremely long legs, you will want to stay away from tapered jeans. By wearing tapered jeans with extremely long legs, you will cause your torso to appear shorter and not look proportionate to your body.
